Increasing Creativity- Journaling can promote problem solving techniques and help you consider new ways of thinking.

Boosting your Mood- Journaling can provide you new perspectives and explore positive and helpful aspects of stressful situations.

Relieving Stress- Journaling can aid in reducing stress by getting thoughts and emotions on paper and creating a clear mental headspace.

Gaining New Insights- Journaling allows you to process and see situations from a new perspective.

Identifying Emotions- Journaling allows you to name your emotions and release feelings related to stress.

How to start a journaling practice

Start slow- If you are new to journaling. Commit to journaling for a few minutes a day. It could be a simple as tracking your mood, or rating your day, making a list of gratitude. The benefits of journaling is one that helps you navigate your emotions.

Find a rhythm that works for you. Journaling everyday can be helpful for some and stressful for others. Some people prefer to journal when they are expreicning increased stress and some people prefer to journal daily.
